Decorating your home with family photography is a permanent reminder of the love you all have for each other

Family portraits show your children that they’re valued and that you’re proud of them.

Don’t take my word for it - read the quote below from The Dean of Psychological Sciences at Manchester University!

We cannot underestimate the power of photographs to keep us feeling linked to others and belonging. By displaying photographs of our children at different stages of their lives, we are making a very public statement that we are proud of them.
— Professor Geoff Beattie - Dean of Psychological Sciences at Manchester University

Highly recommend this lovely man. He really made my family and I feel very relaxed having some beautiful photos taken. My youngest daughter is very shy and she didn’t stop talking to Dan! He was very patient and the quality of the pictures are outstanding.

Wall art

As the professor’s quote above suggests, wall art of your family helps your children feel loved and connected. They’re a permanent visual reminder of how much you all mean to each other.

When you’re having a bad day you can look up and see your loved ones at their happiest, reminding you of what’s really important in life.

To ensure your products last and can be handed down to the next generation I only use the finest framing and printing companies. Professional labs that ONLY work with professional photographers so you can be sure you’re getting quality that’s not available on the high street.

What can we say? Dan is one of life’s few very special people! His talent and passion for photography is reflected in the unique service he provides.

Albums (that you can actually display!)

While wall art is a permanent reminder of how much you love your family, albums can capture a wider variety of memories.

For example:

  • The way a mother interacts with her children is often different to how the father does.

  • Similarly you’ll want photographs that capture how your children interact with each other.

  • Then there’s the group photograph of the whole family smiling and laughing for the camera.

  • And then how about some more natural photographs of you all interacting with each other?

  • And of course you’ll want some individual photographs of each child that capture the different sides of their personality

  • And we can try different locations: climbing a tree, or amongst the bluebells, running through a meadow and so on.

And as your children grow you can create new volumes so you’ll have your children’s entire childhood captured forever.

There’s nothing more pleasurable than sitting down with a coffee and thumbing through dozens of happy memories. Children don’t stay the same for long and each year the little person they were last year no longer exists, except in our memories. Albums capture those memories beautifully.

Whenever you want to relive a time in their childhood you can select an album that rekindles that chapter in their life.

My albums are from Italy’s finest lab using paper and ink that make colours pop and last a lifetime. The albums come in a thick, magnetic, transparent case which doesn’t just protect the book… it’s designed to be self standing so you can permanently display it like a framed photograph.

The Heirloom box

Portrait boxes are beautifully crafted boxes that contain a selection of your favourite photographs. The beauty of portrait boxes is they have the benefits of an album but the flexibility of wall art. You can frame some, gift some, or keep them as a collection and even add to it over the years.

Dan is a great photographer to work with! We had a lot of fun with an outside shoot in winter. Dan listened to what we wanted and then managed to translate it beautifully into some family photos we will treasure for many years to come.
