I used a mirrored table to create a reflection of the bride and groom kissing in Holmewood Hall’s beautiful ceremony room.

Window light always looks beautiful so once the dress has gone on in the morning I usually take a photo similar to this. We had zero space because the bed took up most of the room but I love the light, the geometric shapes and the lines from the blinds.

I love the light peeking behind the tree and the relaxed, intimate nature of the bride and groom as they cuddle in the woods.

I love the combination of the reflection, the pose and the beautiful backdrop.

The bride and groom had just sprayed Prosecco at me F1 style and this was taken right after as Natalie polished off the remaining booze!

This photo shows that a rainy wedding doesn’t mean you can’t get beautiful photos. I put one flash behind the couple to back-light the rain and make it sparkle. It also gave the couple a rim-light so they didn’t merge into the background. The second light was put just to my left to illuminate the couple.

The Isle of Skye is one of the most beautiful locations you can imagine for your wedding photographs. Windswept and moody with jagged mountains and brooding skies give the photos there a wild and dramatic feel. This was taken 100 yards from the road at the Quiraing which is an ancient landslide location which is why the mountain in the background has such an interesting shape.

Right next to The Old Bridge in Huntingdon is a park with a small hill on it. The bride and groom went up the hill and I photographed them from below against the dramatic sky.

Yes, this really is the same bride in the same photo 5 times. I put the camera on a tripod and take 5 photos and then lay the 5 photos over each other in Photoshop. It helped me show the different sides of the bride’s personality in one photo. It was taken near The Talbot Hotel in Oundle.

When we got to The Haycock Hotel bridge for the classic wedding shot at this venue we saw a couple of lads swimming. I asked if they’d mind jumping in to give us a fun ‘blooper’ shot.

This is always a fun group photo idea for bridemaids with their bride. This one was made extra funny by the bridesmaid on the left having a bit of a disaster with her throw!

This was taken at Holmewood Hall near Peterborough just as the sun was about to set. The perfect time for the couple shots to get the best light.

One crazy bridesmaid straddled my camera so I could get this unique wedding group photo while the other bridesmaids laughed. I ended up booking the straddling bridesmaid’s wedding too.

I love the wildflower meadow at Barrington Hall. It’s perfect for a splash of colour for the photos with the bride and groom.

The groom had a ceremonial sword which nan nicked during the group photos for a really fun, quirky shot.

Normanton church is a beautiful wedding venue in Rutland. The church is on a promontory so it’s surrounded by Rutland Water on 3 sides making it beautiful for sunset photos and reflections like in this photo.

At Swynford Manor there are some wings on the wall which always make for a fun photo like this.

At Holmewood Hall you’re allowed to throw confetti from the spiral staircase onto the bride and groom during their first dance.

i love this funky tree at Barrington Hall because it’s perfect for arranging a few intrepid guests during the group photos.

My favourite thing to do is create wedding photos in nature at sunset. The beauty of nature and the golden sunlight ensure stunning photos.

We saw this awesome piece of graffiti so couldn’t resist posing the bride next to it.

Flaxbourne Gardens is one of my favourite wedding venues as it has amazing gardens with beautiful and quirky elements, such as these Roman arches.

Lumsdale Falls in The Peak District are beautiful so I couldn’t resist bring this bride and groom there.

Dodford Manor is on a hill so it’s great for perfect views of the sunset.

Irnham Hall is lit up beautifully at night making it perfect for dramatic wedding photos.

It doesn’t matter how bad the weather is so long as you’re willing to embrace the storm with elegance. A metaphor for life perhaps.

The Sibson Inn near Peterborough has a great view of the sunset out the fields in the back.
