Darren and Leanne’s wedding at Irnham Hall
They got ready in the cottages just outside the entrance to Irnham Hall and Darren had a swift pint in the Griffin Inn next door.
They met the registrars at Irnham Hall’s magnificent drawing room which is adorned with suits of armour and ancient family paintings.
Flex, their Bull terrier walked down the aisle but nothing could steal the show from Leanne as she lit up the ceremony.
Despite the apocalyptic forecast we had perfect weather so everyone enjoyed a drink in the walled garden before the confetti shot.
The meal was delicious and so were some of the stories in the speeches - especially as Darren is in the military and you know what shenanigans those guys get up to!

The first dance was done outside because the band were doing a sound test inside.
Once the band was ready the guests filled the dance floor with gusto.
It was then time to arrange 70 drunk people with sparklers to create a tunnel for Darren and Leanne to walk through without setting fire to them!
With no-one incinerated it was time to go home and rest after another perfect wedding at Irnham Hall.
