Swynford Manor wedding photos - Simon and Jessica
/Well lick me like a stamp and call me Susie if Simon and Jessica’s Swynford Manor wedding wasn’t more legendary than the loch ness monster!
Their wedding photos had cascades of two types of tears - emotional and laughter. A wonderful couple who are perfect to photograph because they wear their hearts on their sleeves.
They backed so much into their wedding….
…We had a Peaky Blinders theme.
We had Mark the bestman do what can only be described as a sensual and feminine flower dance right before the beautiful Jessica came down the aisle.
We had page boys on groomsmen’s shoulders havin’ it large to slamming techno.
We had indoor confetti raining down from a winding staircase
We briefly had actual rain - so we danced in it.
We had angel wings.
We had a sparkler exit
WE HAD A BLAST!! And as the last photograph below will tell you… we all got on pretty darn well too!
Swynford Manor is perfect for wedding photos for several reasons…
It has a clean black and white theme to the decor which is perfect for ensuring the light is great and skin tones are flattering.
There’s a beautiful winding staircase with a huge, elegant chandelier which is perfect for some of the romantic photographs and your procession towards the ceremony.
Ceremonies can be held outside.
The reception room has lots of natural light and plenty of space.
The bridal suit has an adjoining room which is ideal for hair and makeup, which means there’s plenty of space for everyone to get ready and it’s still easy to get nice clean photographs once the wedding dress is on.
Swynford Manor is one of the few wedding venues who allow couples to throw confetti inside. Having the confetti rain down from the winding staircase is a lovely alternative to the outdoor confetti run (which is also lovely to be fair!).
The winding staircase is great for indoor group photographs if it’s raining (which it was for this wedding).
The gardens have plenty of options for the group and romantic photographs. There’s a line of mature trees, a nicely lit driveway and some roses and wildflowers around the corner.
Equally important to all of that is that the Swynford Manor staff are always lovely and helpful.
